We offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation to review the student's current educational plan. Following this initial consultation, a follow-up will take place where recommendations and appropriate services will be suggested.
We are available on an hourly basis to support families in the development of a meaningful vision for their child's educational journey. We assist families in creating a road map towards success for their child, which includes reviewing IEPs or 504s and providing necessary support. We want these documents to be a living plan of success for every child! Putting a purposeful plan in place for each unique and individual learner is imperative!
We're here to help you every step of the way.
A family may determine that they need support throughout the entirety of the IEP or 504 process. Our full service model includes hours of service that a family may use at any point throughout a single school year. Collaboratively, we would use this time to review any educational documents pertaining to your child (including, but not limited to, data, your vision statement or parent input, IEP or 504 drafts, assessments, present levels, etc.). This time may be used in preparation for an upcoming IEP or 504 meeting, for us to attend a meeting with you, complete an in-class observation, for follow-up support, or in any other way that may support your child's educational journey. Furthermore, this service can include a custom "All About Me" form which highlights your vision statement and speaks to who your child truly is as a person, making your child much more than just another student. We believe that a meaningful vision statement makes a child's educational journey a work of heart for all those involved. We collaborate with the family to determine the number of hours that would be needed for this level of support during a given school year.

Furthermore, Education Team Allies does not educate on how to file state complaints or due process. A working relationship with Education Team Allies will focus solely on strategies to support families through the IEP (or 504) process who are NOT in critical situations. We serve families across the state of Maryland as well as other areas of the country where our services are needed.
Working with Education Team Allies is specifically designed to support families who need to learn how to become an equal member of their child's educational team through positive interactions, creating appropriate paper trails, and knowing what questions to ask to get the results their child needs. Our focus is on collaborative efforts to help students achieve.
